Figured out what was shorting out on the LH control stick PTT wiring. Inside the grip cap of the Ray Allen grips, wires are soldered to two smal terminals. When the cap was pushed over the end of the control stick, the wires/terminals inside the cap were touching the inside of the stick. Physically bent the wires/terminals toward the center of the cap, reinstalled the cap, and verified that there was continuity only when the PTT button was pressed. Routed PTT wires from WH-00046 fuselage harness and crimped on spade connectors. Crimped on spade connectors on PTT wires from the control stick. Connected wires and secured to harness with tie wraps. (page 31B-12, steps 7 and 8). Page 31B-12 is complete.
