Secured PTT wires splices from Ray Allen grip cap with tie wraps and routed wires into control stick. Drilled and tapped a hole in the grip cap, spacer, and control stick, then installed screw. Slid grip over spacer into final position. Tie wrapped PTT wire to the shank and goose neck at the bottom of control sticks. After installing control sticks (ref entry on same day, page 32-05), installed ring terminals on ground wire and loosely connected to clamps installed previously. Checked for continuity between airframe ground and the PTT wire with PTT button pressed. RH side worked fine. LH side had continuity all the time so pulled the grip cap away from the stick and found that continuity was no longer present. Tired so will figure it out tomorrow. (page 31B-12, steps 3, 5, and 6).
