Struggled to install the rudder pedal assembly without half the assembly falling apart. Finally got the rudder pedals installed and had a hard time installing the AN960-10 washers between the upper pedal blocks and firewall but managed. Torqued the pedal block bolts but noticed that the rudder pedals were real tight and not easy to move. I've either done something wrong or not supposed to torque the bolts to standard torque value. Got an email off to Van's for advise. (page 27-03, steps 8 and 9).
