Received confirmation from Van's that the wire color mismatch for the fuel flow transducer is as I suspected. That is red-red, black-black, and yellow (harness)-white (transducer). Inserted transducer socket pins into Molex connector and then connected to the harness. (page 31B-06, step 3).
Page 31B-06 is complete.
Routed and inserted stall warning wire into left fuselage connector. Loosely attached ground wires to clamps on seat ribs and then routed wires outboard and inserted into applicable left/right wing connector. Did noticed that Van's only sent MS21919WDG6 cushion camps but instrcutions called out MS21919DG6 clamps. (page 31B-08, steps 1 and 2).
Page 31B-08 is complete.
Routed autopilot pitch servo wires through left seat ribs and then aft and inboard through seat rib. Inserted pins into ES-00010 Molex connector. Also, inserted ground wire into connector. (page 31B-09, steps 1 and 2).
Page 31B-09 is complete.
Routed spar pin wire aft and up through wire run conduit, then outboard to left side. Installed snap bushings. Started to install reed switches and had the same struggles as everyone else and eventually just gave up. Save this for another day. (page 31B-10, steps 1 and 2).
Found fuel level wire, GPS Data Out wire, and ELT power wire and routed aft and up through wire run conduit, then outboard to right side. Noticed that the GPS out wire was white (instead of grey/purple) but was identified as F-395. Received verification from Van's that on occassion, Stein does not have the correct wire color and can substitute white with a tag. Good to know. Crimped ring terminal on fuel level wire. Routed remaining wires aft and past back baggage bulkhead. (page 31B-11, steps 1 through 3 and step 5).
