Modified firewall grommet and installed in firewall. Removed FT-60 fuel flow transducer forward bolt and installed clamp through bolt, then torqued bolt. (page 31B-02, steps1 through 3).
Page 31B-02 is complete.
Fabricated wire run conduit and installed, along with pull strings, to center section using clamps. Installed com antenna cable and transponder antenna cable. Pulled phone cable through wire run conduit and forward to upper snap bushing of F-00027-L com support. Installed snap bushing in top of center section. (page 31B-03, steps 1 through 4).
Page 31B-03 is complete.
Installed cooling fans and verified direction of airflow by connecting 12v power supply. Routed WH-00046 harness wires through forward panel base snap bushing. Installed clamp and connected fan power wires. (page 31B-05, steps 1 through 5).
Page 31B-05 is complete.
Inserted wires from fuselage harness into Molex connector for fuel flow transducer. Was not able to connect to the FT-60 fuel flow transducer because spade connectors are installed. Removed spade connectors and crimped on Molex socket pins. Also, noticed that wire colors are the same for two wires (red and black) but the thrird wire is white (from transducer) and yellow (from harness). Email sent to Van's to verify connections. (page 31B-06, steps 1 and 2).
Installed WH-00056 aux music jack. What a pain. Had to file hole enough to push jack through - still very tight. Inserted pins from jack into Molex plug. Found wires from harness and inserted into Molex connector. Connected both halves together. (page 31B-07, steps 1 through 3).
