Brief Description: Completed SkyView Structural Updates (2 of 2)
Reworked pitot static lines for SkyView ADAHRS. This modification was already done last month when I ordered parts on my own and did the modification. See entry for page 10-09 on 2/10/12. Basically the same installation but did not splice in pitot tube near the left static port but ran the tube straight up to the tee at the top of the frame. Hopefully the pitot line will be long enough to reach top of the panel base. (page 42D-12, steps 2 and 3; and page 42D-13, steps 1 through 6). Page 42D-12 and 42D-13 are complete.
Drilled additional 3/4" hole in F-1203A and F-1202F bulkheads. Steps provided measurements on where to drill holes but noticed that there was already a #30 pilot hole in the correct spot for each bulkhead. Used step drill to size holes to 3/4" and installed SB750-10 snap bushings. (page 42D-14, steps 1 and 2). Page 42D-14 is complete.
The plans are not real clear in this section. The remaining pages in Section 42D modify wiring harnesses and appears to be related to existing installations. Will refer back to this section while installing wiring and see if any of the remaining steps are applicable or not.
