Received new AN4-21 bolt and AN310-4 castellated nut from Aircraft Spruce. Refer to previous entries for thread of why replacements were required as follows: Section 21 (9-6-11 entry) - Noticed that bolt was loose. Section 23 (3-3-12 entry) - Mangled cotter pin during removal and damaged bolt/nut.
Michael helped by using a bolt to push the bad bolt out of the hole. Used the extra bolt to keep all of the washers in place while swapping bolts. Reversed the process to push in the new AN4-21 bolt. Installed washer and new AN310-4 castellated nut. Tightened nut to ensure all play was removed - arms now move with no extra play but are a hair tight. Going to leave as is for now and see how flap handle feels when installed. Installed new MS24665-208 cotter pin.
