Brief Description:  Replaced Nutplate & Attempted to Tighten Flaperon

One of the things on my to-do list for quite some time was to replace one of the CCR-264SS-3-2 rivets in the bottom right nutplate on the F-1270L side skin at the triangle opening. Took awhile to drill out the rivet because it kept rotating with the drill and couldn't get a good grip of the rivet on the back side. Finally got it removed without enlarging the hole. Also, decided to drill out the other rivet. Riveted nutplate with new rivets.

Another item on the to-do list was to tighted the pivot bolt on the flaperon mixer assembly (see entry on Section 21 on 9-6-11). After installing bottom skin, assembly was looser than desired but saved this until fuselage was back on its side. Cotter pin was an absolute pain to remove. Ended up mangling the cotter pin to the point that the best I could do it cut it off close to the nut, then remove the nut with the cotter pin still in the hole. Bolt and nut didn't look too bad but decided to order a new AN4-21 bolt and AN310-4 nut and start over.
