Finished trimming excess material from upper and lower tailcone fairings. Installed and clamped tailcone fairings to tailcone and sanded out for best fit. (page 12-06, steps 2, 4, and 5 through 7). Page 12-06 is complete.
Started clamping and match drilling tabs on lower tailcone fairing. Match drilled and clecoed 6 of the 8 tabs (excluding 2 top tabs) amd trial fit the fair halves. Gaps were bigger than expecting. Before proceeding, decided to tape fairings together and mixed epoxy with flox and filled gaps. Need to wait for epoxy to cure and then reshape the gaps. (page 12-07, partial steps 1 and 2).
