Dave and Chuck came over to inspect progress on the fuselage kit. Dave took a look for me when he inspected the left wing prior to closing the skin back on 5/1/11 so he is familiar with the project. Chuck is an A&P with Inspection Authorization (IA) and tons of experience which includes help building two other aircraft. Inspection went well with compliments on the quality of the build. That means a lot to me coming from these two guys. There was one thing pointed out that I need to correct. The longeron cutout in the F-1207C-L baggage bulkhead is touching the longeron. I'll need to trim the cutout a bit so it's not touching.
My credit card got charged today as well which means Van's started to crate the finishing kit. Should ship next week as promised by Van's and hope to see it within the next week or two. Excitement is building :).
