Scuffed seatback parts with Scotch Brite Pad, cleaned with Acetone, and primed. Applied a coat of Krylon clear on seatback angles and seatback braces.
Riveted seatback brace hinges to seatback braces. Riveted seatback angles and hinges to seatbacks. (page 26-03, steps 3 and 5 through 8). Page 26-03 is complete.
Fabricated seatback brace hinge pins. Installed seatback brace to back of seatback with hinge pins. Drilled #52 hole in seatback braces and secured hinge pin with 0.032-inch safety wire. Fabricated seatback hinge pins and secured seatbacks to floor with pins. (page 23-04, steps 1 through 6). Page 26-04 is complete.
SECTION 26 SEATBACKS IS COMPLETE
Fuselage kit is complete except for the following (to be sequenced in with Finishing Kit): 1. Install W-1233-L & -R steps (page 21-18, step 10) 2. Install rudder pedal assembly (page 27-03, steps 8 and 9) 3. Connect main brake lines to rudder pedal assembly (page 27-05, step 5) 4. Safety wire gascolator bowl screws (page 28-05, step 2) 5. Attach tailcone and turtle deck (page 25-01 thru 25-05, all steps)
