Brief Description: Installed Upper Fwd Skin and Panel Attach Strips
Sealed base of F-1202H-L & -R canopy rib assemblies with tank sealant (page 29-04, step 13). Page 29-04 is complete.
Sealed rivet heads on forward side of firewall with tank sealant. Screwed upper forward fuselage skin to upper firewall, side fuselage skins, and canopy ribs. Screwed F-1240B assembly to upper forward fuselage skin. Riveted nutplates to panel attach strips, then riveted panel attach strips to upper forward fuselage skin. (page 29-05, steps 4, 8, 9, and 10). Page 29-05 is complete.
Plan is to install dual EFIS instead of map box so page 29-06 is not applicable (no steps performed).
With Skyview close to being released, it's obvious that the instrument panels provided with the fuselage kit are for the Flightdek D180 and will not work. Page 29-07 is not applicable so no steps performed.
