Brief Description: Riveted Roll Bar & Match Drilled to Base
Spent a lot of time prepping parts for Sections 24 and 25 by scuffing with Scotch Brite pads, cleaning with Acetone, and priming. The roll bar frames took a lot of time to clean up.
Assembled and riveted roll bar frames, straps, splice plates, and latch plate (page 24-02, steps 4 and 5). Also countersunk then riveted cockpit light bracket to roll bar assembly (page 40-11, steps 4 through 7). Page 24-02 is complete.
Clecoed roll bar assembly to roll bar bases and support frames to roll bar assembly and canopy decks. Match drilled the 12 holes on each side of the roll bar assembly into the bases (page 24-03, steps 1 through 3).
