Before getting too far, drilled and installed system blocks (page 27-04, step 6).
Pleasant surprise when I got home to see new fuel valve parts at the front door. Estimated delivery from UPS was Monday so I figured it would be a slow weekend waiting on parts. Now I can press on with fuel line installation. Prepped new fuel valve parts, assembled, and clecoed to fuselage bottom skin (page 28-02, steps 5 through 8). Page 28-02 is complete.
Installed F-1259F tank-pump fuel line (page 28-03, step 4). Page 28-03 is complete.
Fabricated F-1259E pump-valve fuel line. Not sure if line just forward of F-1204A bulkhead is joggled down enough to clear the flap handle. Already put a small dent trying to get line to lay flat. We'll see when getting to Section 32 if more "persuasion" is necessary. (page 28-04, steps 1 through 5). Page 28-04 is complete.
Installed F-1259C floscan-firewall fuel line and F-1259D valve -floscan fuel line (page 28-05, steps 4 and 5). Page 28-05 is complete.
Prior to installing all fuel lines, flushed with isopropyl alcohol to remove contaminants. None of the fuel lines or bolts to fuel pump or fuel flow meter are torqued yet. Will torque them after the return line is installed.
