Brief Description:  Completed Fwd Lower Fuselage

Lightly scuffed all Section 22 parts with Scotch Brite pad, cleaned with Acetone, and primed. Did not scuff or prime lower firewall or firewall shelf. Sequence of steps didn't make a lot of sense so sequence modified as shown below. The only thing I would have done differently was to install the fuel return line clamp nutplate on the lower firewall before installing firewall. I could not get the pneumatic pop rivet tool between the tunnel ribs to pull the rivets and had to use a hand pop rivet tool.

Riveted nutplates to sloping flange of tunnel ribs and engine mount brackets to web of tunnel ribs(page 22-02, step 3 and 4).

Riveted F-1201L bracket to outer side of right tunnel rib web (page 22-03, step 11).

Installed nutplates to FLO-SCAN mount bracket and riveted assembly to forward fuselage floor skin (page 22-04, steps 1 and 3).

Assembled and riveted tunnel ribs, lower fuselage floor skin, lower firewall, and F-1271-L & -R forward fuselage corner skins. Riveted cooler stiffener to firewall. Riveted nutplates to tunnel ribs and lower fuselage floor skin and also firewall to floor skin. Riveted cowl attach plates and spacers to firewall and floor skin. Finally, riveted fuel return line nutplate to firewall (page 22-02, steps 6, 8, 9, 12, and 13).
Page 22-02 is complete.

Riveted rudder pedal support channels and nutplates to firewall shelf. Applied B2 fuel tank sealant to upper flange of lower firewall and installed and riveted firewall shelf. Installed gascolator nutplates and riveted to firewall. Right nutplate also attached F-1201L bracket to firewall (page 22-03, steps 3, 4, and 11).
