Brief Description: Prepped RH Wing Light Extension for Final Installa
Removed right wing light extension after drilling holes in upper flange. Sanded excess epoxy (page 40-07, steps 7 and 8). Page 40-07 is complete for left and right wing.
Installed lighting bracket on right wing extension, cut oval hole for connector, installed ground wire, and installed male Molex connector for left wing Nav/strobe light. (page 40-08, steps 1 through 9). Page 40-08 is complete for left and right wing. Ran into a problem when clecoing extension to wing tip. The scribe line for the oval cutout was above the light bracket and there was not enough clearance at the wing tip rib to slide connector through. Had to re-cut the oval below the light bracket and floxed the upper oval to close it up before continuing.
Connected Nav/strobe light to right wing wiring and applied 12V to wing terminals at inboard end and verified that Nav lights and strob lights work properly. Also checked the landing light (steady and pulse).
