Brief Description: Cut Extension Hole and Prepped Extension for Right
Removed 3 rivets, installed template, cut hole in close-out, and drilled hole for ground stud in right wing tip (page 40-02, steps 4 through 6). Page 40-02 is complete.
Trimmed extension W-1222-R to scribe line with Dremel and cutting disk and sanding the rest of the way with sandpaper. Fitted extension to wing tip and drilled holes. Covered light bracket hole with wax and applied car wax to wing tip rib. Mixed and applied Flox (West System 105 resin, 206 hardener, and flocked cotton) to extension and clecoed to wing tip to cure. (page 40-07, steps 1 through 6). Way easier the second time around.
