Brief Description: Previous Building Activity Lost & Reconstituted
All previous building ativity and pictures were lost with Eric's old computer when it crashed in August 2005! Seat & Stab built; some pics remain, but most were lost. Progress will be rebuilt and entered into logboook using notes placed in plans as prgress was checked off. Lesson learned!
Some Lessons Included: 1) Do not install leading edge! It got all dinged up while sanding the top & bottom skins. 2) Be sure you stay close to - and monitor (with a rib template) - the shape of all ribs. This will avoid variations along the stab (high & low points; thin and thicker sections, etc.) 3) Black pigment seemed to work well while installing the elevator hinge channel.
