Brief Description: Rib Assembly and Start Elevator Assembly
Completed steps 2-4 on page 9-10 (Step 1 was priming).
Rivet the tip rib assembly together and the hinge reinforcement plates to the front spar along with associated nutplate.
When I got to step 5 where the plans call out to rivet the root rib to the front spar followed by the elevator horn in step 7 I realized the parts did not fit together. I pushed and pulled but no luck. They worked when I drilled the components but no longer fit. I decided to call it a night and contact Vans in the AM to understand my options. I also ordered new root ribs thinking there was an issue with mine.
