While I was working on priming the VS pieces I put my dad to work on the rudder. This was his first experience working with the parts and did well.
He cut and deburr the top and bottom rib pieces along with all the stiffeners and shear clips. We did have an issue and messed up the R1015E-R and the R1015C-L. Good news was we could order one replacement R1015 and create the two pieces from it.
Tip for future builders, start at the top, creating R1015A in case you cut one too short you can use it later .
