Brief Description:  Flight 64

0.5 flight time, 5x around pattern. Saw 2 planes in the pattern as I drove up. By the time I got out there, they had gone. Added air to the tires to get 45 psi. On the 3rd pattern a C-172 joined in (from airborne), then another one who was kind of slow with the radio. I completed 5 patterns, and quickly caught up to the C-172 so I had to extend upwind and fly downwind slowly to not extend out too far. He was turning base at about 1 mile out and 300 agl - pretty bad place to be if the engine died. It was also kind of funny as I was passing through 500 AGL at the departure end of the runway, he was well below. Then again, I guess they only have 300-400 FPM climb. I was showing 1200-1300. Radio still crappy, but Byron sent me a schematic with the adjustment he made - not one you can access from outside, so I'll have to pull the cover. Wind about 25mph at pattern altitude, calm on the ground. River was running pretty good from the rain last night. Was absolutely sticking the landings, no bounce. 61 landings so far on this second 1/2 of the tires. Still trying to see if taxi distance is significant in the tire wear. 33.5 total time.
