Brief Description: First flight, 2nd flight

Did the first flight(s) today. First one was 0.4. Once around the pattern, then a full stop, then again around the pattern. Came back and adjusted carb 1/2 turn richer. Then went back out and did once more around the pattern, with a 360 on the downwind (0.2). Feels really solid. Didn't seem to pull much to one side or the other, but I wasn't really checking that out. First flight, I was either going to do a high-speed taxi and check that the airspeed worked, or just go. Airspeed came up at about 40mph, and it seemed like it wanted to go, so rather than be on the runway at that speed with unknown controls, I took off. Temps were high, both CHT and EGT, so I went right to downwind and landing. The temps came down when the throttle came back, so I went around the pattern 1 more time, still no good. Even after coming back and adusting the carb, temps are still too high, so it's not in the right range of rich yet. Controls feel solid, nothing bad. Aside from the ailerons, elevator, and rudder, checked the trim and flaps too. All good.
