Brief Description:  Install new radio

Removed the prior radio tray. Forgot the snap ring pliers, so just cut the antenna lead to get it out. Needed to put a different connector on it anyway. Got a large portion of the former intercom wiring out. Only thing left are the ground wires to the forest of tabs and some short pieces that go through the bottom of the spar box. I want to re-use those for the PTT's anyway, but I didn't feel like pulling the seat out this morning to finish that off. Got all of the switches into the new panel, but didn't do the 2 indicator lights because those leads need to be soldered. Don't have enough of the 4-40 screws to hold the radio in the panel, so borrowed one from the E1 and will have to get 3 more to finish it off, but it's flyable as-is. Started to put the new harness in, but will need to make a bracket for the jacks for the passenger side. My cable ties got donated to another project, so I couldn't secure anything and stopped there.

Next steps - solder back the indicator lights, mount the passenger side jacks in a bracket, cable tie all this stuff, pull the seat out to attach the PTT buttons, new connector on the antenna lead.
