Stopped by the airport this morning and pulled out the mic and phone jacks, the switch panel (with intercom and ELT head), and the wiring harness for the King com. I needed this to get the lengths for the + and - leads. Decided to have panel-mounted jacks - the prior wiring was setup for the intercom (not the same connections for the PTT), and removing behind the seat jacks is many feet of wire. Not a big deal (though all weight adds up), but with the panel mounted jacks, I can setup the entire harness at home then just drop it in. Spent a little over an hour starting to make up that harness. Hopefully this is more than half done.
Came back later and finished it in about another hour.
Harness. Factory wanted $169 + they set lengths. This cost about $2 for the dsub - I had the rest.
