Got the old antenna and headset from the hangar. Made up a frame and ground plane for the old antenna from some .015 Al sheet that was sitting around. Put the antenna on the ground plane. Connected up the test connector for the radio. It receives clear as can be. It transmits, but haven't got it to transmit voice yet. I suspect the mic connection isn't right.
