Spent about 1 hour in the morning looking at the ELT installation instructions. I originally had not planned on making the little shelf behind the seat as many have done for the ELT installation, but it looks like a good option to getting a solid attachment structure large enough for the ELT. So I laid that out. I needed 1x1x.125 angle for the inboard side support. None was just laying around, so I drilled out a piece from the scrapped F12 assembly. I had originally preserved that as an example of Sonex construction, but since I'm now taking it apart for materials, may as well get all the bolts out of it as well. Had another hour at night where I cleaned up the panel the ELT would sit on and riveted it to the 1x1x.125 angle.
