Brief Description:  Install main landing gear

Drilled the 2nd upper hole more quickly than the first - got a little more adventuresome in how long I would let the drill go before shutting it off to cool. The chip changed from a nice spiral to a fan-folded little strip - I think the drill may be jerking across the surface rather than making a smooth cut. Finished the two upper gear leg holes, installed the legs in the motor mount. Set up a very primitive alignment tool. In between waiting for the drill and gear legs to cool, fabricated the axle spacers, drilled the brakes to the axles, drilled the axle holes at the gear leg. Set up the axles on the gear legs, aligned using the tool, then touched through the holes into the gear leg to mark where the hole goes. Disassembled all, removed gear legs from the motor mount, and drilled the lower holes on the drill press. Assembled all back on the motor mount. Looks like the left wheel has more toe in than the right - not a problem with my alignment tool, but a problem with my marking of the holes. Will try to correct when drilling through the 2nd side of the axle. Temporarily put the brakes, axle spacer, washer, bearing, wheel with drum, bearing, washer, and nut on each axle to set the plane down on the wheels. That's it for now. Looks like the axle spacers are long by about 1/4" - the brake pads are showing. I'll shorten those later and reassemble.
