Trimmed the sides again. While waiting for the canopy to get hot in the sun, also reworked the canopy latch to move the handle back (drilled another hole 3" back and flipped the handle around the existing hole). Also rotated the bulkhead fuel fitting through the firewall to see if a different fuel tube routing would work. It won't without relocating the bulkhead fitting in the firewall to the left side of the central square tube. I decided to leave it as-is. After trimming the sides up a little, found the right side still needs a little more. Also figured out that as someone said, this part is very three-dimensional. The little bit of tilt change on it from trimming the aft side allowing the aft side to drop down a little has made both bottom sides of the forward edge (about 1 foot up each side) to be too far fowards. So I marked those for retrimming. All I could do today, as the sun is now too low to keep warming the plastic.
