Spent 2 hours polishing RHS turtledeck skin. About 1 hour of this was finishing the drill-pad process, and 1 hour on the orbital polisher process. Spent last 1/2 hour unclecoing the bottom skin from the inverted tail cone, flipped it over on the sawhorses. Brought out the LHS turtledeck skin from storage and used alcohol to clean the markings off. The markings would be on the outside. Sure, this would come off in the polishing process, but why put the polishing energy into removing the printed lettering and layout marker lines?
