Brief Description:  Forward Fuselage Side

Spent about 1.5 hours polishing. Burned out the polisher. It was a 19-year-old car waxer from Sears. Moved on to fixing the F27 rudder cable snap bushings by cutting a short length of hose and sliding this over the bushing to keep them tight to the vertical structure. Online suggestions included making spacers for the verticals out of cutting board (1/4" thick plastic) and 1/4" thick wood. Then someone pointed to Gus Schegel's solution of the hose. I found the hose at Lowe's. Someone else pointed out that electrical junction box knock-out bushings could be used. Lowe's and Home Depot did not have any that were small enough, but this looks like another good answer. Also bought another polisher (Riyobi?) from Home Depot. Not counting shopping time in this log, just building time.

Looks bright, but not as much as right side. Didn't worry about skin inside wing (dull area).
