Fabricated 1 pair of the aft fuselage vertical channels. Don't need to use the Sonex-provided channel stock here since the web dimension isn't critical. At this point, I have almost zero .025 scrap, so could only make the aft pair of .025 and the most aft pair from .032. Should be able to make the others from .025 stock when I get the last 3 sheets needed for the project. Can fabricate 2 more pairs on the small 18" brake. Considering adding the 40" brake from Harbor Freight - with this could cut out about $350 of the preformed channel stock from Sonex. Brake is on sale for $139, and material cost is nothing because I will have the sheet stock scrap to fabricate all the channel parts up to 40" long. Return on time invested is much lower than for wing ribs, however, so I might just buy the Sonex prefolded stock.
