Spent most of the time practicing riveting with a rivet gun. Had a sample spar part made up. I had previously hammered 30 rivets with the big hammer and bolt method. Of these, 3 were acceptable. The rest ended up either off center, bent over, or cracked and bent. Tried drilling out some of these bad ones. Didn't get a single one out - removing 5/32 driven rivets is HARD. I don't want to have to do this on the real spar. Drove 7 rivets with the gun. Took a few tries to get down how long to let it hammer, but all 7 rivets I would accept. Checked the dimensions with the caliper. This gives me good confidence that I can rivet this spar. Spent a little time deburring the RH spar details.
