Painted primer on counterweight plates in the area of the plates that contacts the lead. First attempt at completing drilling of first aileron. The outboard tip at the forward edge is a mess. Something happened when adding the holes for the hinge. The tip of the aileron (outboard of the counterweight) is about 1/8" thicker than the rest of it. I pulled off the tip rib, thinking this was the problem, made some cuts to its forward end, and bent its flanges inward to make that corner smaller. That wasn't the problem, so now I need to make a new tip rib. Call it a night.
