Took about an hour to sand down the forward fill, outside first, then inside to get it thinner. Since the hinge is on the inside, both sides need to be about the same thickness. Also located and drilled the upper center hinge. Just a few holes to get it located. Came back later and got in 2 more hours of fitting the air outlet lips. Got those drilled and riveted in place. Mixed up a pump of epoxy and added glass inside the forwards fill for support. Then poured some epoxy out, added filler and formed fillets around the edges of the air outlet lips. Got the fillets to be about finished size so there won't be much sanding there at all. Then cut out the heat shields that go in the air outlets. Will mark those for drilling later.
