Brief Description:  Throttle and mixture cables

Prepped the cockpit end of the throttle cable for installation into the throttle handle. Had to recut the end to be square and strip off the outer covering to fit into the fitting on the throttle handle. Looked at the routing. It will be different than shown in the manual because the manual was based on a push-open throttle, where this one is a pull-open. So it has to come in from the top instead of from the bottom. Looked at the mixture cable. Since I won't be using a push-open throttle, I removed the 1/4-20 threaded rod from the throttle slide in the aerocarb (extra weight, and the rod hanging out there is an extra thing to potentially contact an ignition lead). The aerocarb inlet has a built-in clamp for a mixture cable and push-open throttle cable. The mixture cable clamp is too small for the mixture cable that I have, but the push-open throttle clamp is the right size. Since the aerocarb inlet body attachment is symmetrical, I just turned it around. Now I have a great built-in clamp for the mixture cable. I enlarged the clamp piece by hammering a chisel into it (it's soft Al tube with a slot down its length) and pushed the mixture cable in. It flexes a little to the side to reach the mixture lever, but is a nice gentle bend.
