Got another flight in. Today we did short and soft field takeoffs and landings. That was pretty fun. For the soft fields, the instructor held the brakes some to simulate sand. This was in the Rans S-12, quite different from the Sonex, but it's an ELSA that will be available for training until 2010, when the rules change.
S-12. The one I'm flying has the big engine so sits on its tail when empty.
