Installed the flap pushrod. Bent the handle, attached it to the pushrod. Ground and filed on the left side mount block to clear the weld. Shaved the upper left block to be about 1/16" narrower to fit between the retaining ring and the handle attach weldment. Drilled the brackets in the fuselage to 1/4" through the mount block to get good hole spacing. Tweaked two spots on the handle - one where it fits in the flap detent so it would fit in better, and another spot on the aft outboard side near the spar box mount angle. Also filed down the mount angle a little to get the lever to move all the way back to the full flaps position. Installed the brake handle bracket - this took a good bit of trimming to clear the flap mount bracket - part of the difficulty here is the plans assume a smaller inner radius on the angle stock. Got it trimmed and mounted the handle to locate the bend. Located the bend about 1 1/4" higher than plans so the brake lever can be brought back to the flaps detent for a parking brake.
