Brief Description: Tank removal and decronstruction (Part 2)
I guess hardwae stores are not selling actual Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) now. All of the places that typically carry it, HD, Lowes, only had MEK Alternative. $100 for a quart. I left a couple of tank ribs and a flange in it over night. As you can see, only the slosh fell away and the proseal held strong. As for removing the proseal, I have foudn some stuf in Canada called EFS 2500. It'ws $65 a gallon. That's pretty steep I know but, it's actually the cheapest stuff I could find that (cheatper than Sky Restore $94 a liter). Even with shipping it was less and I got almost got twice as miuch. Further, it is supposed to be earth freindly and non toxic. It's on the way now. We'll have to see if it works.
