Well - had my helper out there today. An interested 4 yo is a blessing for sure, but a chore to keep up with!
Finally managed to get the side consoles completed to accept the stock stick. I was going to change the control system, but decided to use the original because it's actually quite elegant. And it will still work with my aileron move with a few tweaks on the back end. No harm in sticking to the plans!
Also blasted and painted the torque plates.
Got the 3rd bench made - something I've been putting off for a while. All the parts were already cut so me and little man got it done in about 20 minutes.
