Brief Description: Nose gear doors and mounts part 2
Marking the location of the 1/4 R45 foam thickeners and then cutting them out to fit. Using carbon, and no vaccum bagging (not stiff enough!), be sure and use at least a 1/4" radius on the outside and inside corners... We'll see how mine comes out because I used about an 1/8" radius on the inside, and had trouble getting the carbon to lay down properly... Ah well.
The thickeners were installed with micro slurry, but I left some blank spot for hot glue since it's a curved shape. The top surface was slurried as usual before the final layup.
