Finished up the lower engine mount layups as well as the tapes on either side of the canard bulkhead (FS 57). I used the method of laying up the glass between two sheets of plastic, using a template to cut them out, and removing the plastic when installing the layups. This is a very easy way to apply these tapes without mess and sloppy looking edges. Time wise, it probably takes about the same, but the end result is so much nicer.
Next session will be the upper reinforcements and I'll get started on the landing gear box layups...
