Brief Description: Nose gear truss temp installation
My nose gear was missing a bushing or two when I received it, so I ordered the "new" material that the Mooney people are using to make it. I made a new bushing for this install, and cleaned up the other one. With everything looking smooth, I installed the truss so that I could use the assembly to make NG-2 fit with NG-1 and everything work properly.
Of course, I don't have the right length bolts - but it's just temporary. Everything looks to be in order here. I'm very happy with the fit. I guess we get lucky now and again.
New bushing on the right. It's not steel like the original, but has a lot of nickel in it.
