Brief Description:  Left elevator parts

I installed blind rivets in the two holes closest to the trailing edge of the right elevator.

I then cut, trimmed, primed and dimpled all the components of the left elevator just as before.
I attempted to bend the tabs that close off the trim tab area of the elevator.
This process sucked the joy from my life.
I tried to make the bending blocks as described in the manual. I took a measurement of trailing edge of the right elevator; ten degrees. I cut blocks at ten degrees and rounded the portion that would fit into the corner of the skin. However, when you compress the skin around the blocks, it did not provide adequate clearance for the tabs to fully fold over. After repositioning the blocks several times and working the edges over with the rivet gun and flush rivet set I was able to get the tabs "functional" but far from pretty. I don't have sharp strait bends. I think if I work the edges any further, I will start to deform the tabs. I'm just going to live with the results that I have. If I had to do it over again, I would fab some webbing and blind rivet it in place.
