Brief Description: Completion of the horizontal stab.
Forrest come over and helped me riveting the right skin onto the front stab spar. We started riveting both sides of the right HS-408 rib to the skin. Once completed, we then started riveting the skins to the front spar working from the outboard section first, then the inboard section. Rivets were put installed in random sequence to prevent the skin from creeping. It shouldn’t have been a problem since it was Clecoed into position but I wasn’t sure if the skin would want to gap in areas. Once the front spar was riveted, the inboard and outboard ribs were riveted in place (HS-406, HS-405, HS-404). The rear spar was then inserted and riveted into place. The aft flange of rib HS-408 was riveted into place using blind rivets. And with that, I deem the first sub-assembly complete! I'll wrap it in bubblewrap and hand it up somewhere.
