Brief Description:  Landing Lights

I have heard that the only real way to have effective landing/taxi lights is to install the leading edge lights. So here I go. After measuring, checking, looking measuring and measuring again I made the cut. And actually it wasn’t as bad as I was thinking it was going to be. I drilled a pilot hole, then a hole saw, then shears (not getting to close). Then I used a rotary file then a small sanding wheel and it turned out real nice.

One thing I didn’t anticipate is, I can’t get the Duckworks bracket into the wing due to the aux fuel tanks. So my plan is to cut the mount in half and screw it back together once in the wing.

I am planning to install the AeroLED 1600 landing lights.
