Installed the heating/ventilation system, after much head scratching to make sure that the rudders were free to move. Decided not to use the sub panel that I made yesterday as the pipes are just too bulky and look untidy. Decided to move the fresh air vent onto the panel with a smaller vent in the panel, and a seconfd one down into the footwell. Had to do a bit of panel tweaking to get it to fit, but the overall layout now looks good. For the heater, Ive decided just to fit a 90 degree fitting to the hot air box protruding through the firewall, with a baffle to spread the air throughout the footwell. Saves having to use any tubing. This meant that the heater cable had to be moved....
Last job was to fixe the ill fitting Sub panel on the glare shield.. the original fibreglass didnt match the panel hoop, so I had to split it, bend it to fit, then epoxy/glass into the new shape.
