Decided to wire up the GEA 24 . Started with the CHT/EGT leads into the d-sub connector. All went well, no issues. Next, went to the other sensors from the transducers and realised that that Garmin recommends shielded cables bonded to the d-subs for all of them; bit of a proble as none of them were shielded so had to change the engine wiring loom and start again!
Re-did the ground wire to the P-mag, as I had run the ground to the fireall FOT and they now recommend grounding direct to the engine block. Lots of fiddling, but now all sorted. Should finish it tomorrow and can then sort out the next box
