Brief Description: More panel work, and canopy latch made
Fitted the Flightstream 210 to the panel, did a bit of filling and sanding, and cut a hole for a 2 1/4" backup efis... yes I know Ive got the G5, but the LAA want a backup from a different manufacturer, even tough the system architecture is completely different to the G3X!
Spen ages working on a switch that identifies when the canopy latch is locked... tried with a small rocker micro switch, but it felt too flimsy. Ended up using a car bonnet sensor, epoxied into an aluminium tube, into which the locking rod of the canopy inserts. Much more robust. How can it take all day to figure it out???? I can see what they mean when they say 90% completed, and abiut half way to finishing!
