Brief Description: New aerials for updated traffic
Had to remove the TRX1500 as its now no longer supported.. the newer version is 3 times n=more sensitive, so I ordered one. Had to move the DME antenna to the right wing root, changed the old DME paerial for an ADSB in, and put a new Flarm aerial between the ADSB and the marker beacon antenna. Laying new cables was difficult as there wasnt much room in the conduits.
Fitted the AIr Traffic unit where the old one was. Made a bracket for the GPS aerial.
Tweeked the ipad mount, so that i can turn it off without taking it out of the mount.
Found out that the power supply to the ipad was a bit flaky, so I took it out, rewired it and put it back. Seems to work better now.
