Brief Description: Tweaked the trottle controls and switch gear
After installing the new throttle quadrant covers, I decided that the throttles were too stiff and 'jumy', so they all came out and started again. The metal slot at the dtop was discraded, and new side paltes made from Delrin, with a slightly wider spacing. Re=assembled, and now very smooth. Had to tweak the throttle cable fron mount and the throttle arm on the fuel serv as it was impinging slightly, and it is now smoooooth! Took a long time!
Got some pics from Brayn at Showplanes, showing a neater arrangement oft he hinge attachement than the standard Van's... the curve t the front of the cowl is less pronounced so the whole segment can be done with a hinge. Re-did the front and grafted a bit of piano hinge in place... just need more piano wire now!
Played around with configuration of the switches, and Chris Booker came round to measur up to get the new frame printed.
